We stayed here with the whole family and enjoyed visiting the Field Museum, which was just a short ride from the hotel. The location was top-notch, making it easy to explore local attractions. Plus, the staff bent over backwards to accommodate us, especially Beverly at the front desk who remembered our names and always offered helpful tips.
In my wife’s opinion, the hotel should have a dedicated kids' area.

The elegant art deco décor created a warm, inviting atmosphere. I felt so at ease wandering through the visually stunning common areas, which were lovely and accessible, making me feel right at home during my stay.
Better accessibility for luggage handling is needed.

A wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary, the welcoming staff made our visit special, starting with a warm greeting from Kinesha at the front desk and a nice surprise of chocolate-covered strawberries in our room. The spacious king room had great natural light and the location is unbeatable, with key attractions just a short walk away. We didn't mind the noise from the EL, and we enjoyed fresh breakfast options at the nearby Goddess and The Baker.

Perfect location and super helpful staff
The room was clean and comfy with a nice fridge. Staff were super nice, especially Lloyd and Makrand, who helped us find cool spots around the city. The brunch place right across the street was awesome. Just wish the train noise didn’t sneak in sometimes, but it wasn't too bad at all.

i felt truly cared for during my stay at silversmith hotel chicago downtown. the staff's kindness made a difference, especially at the bar area where we relaxed after long days. housekeeping was lovely, though overworked, which left us wishing for better timing. there's a charming charm here that shines through with free wi-fi always warmly welcomed.

Exceptional Experience in the Heart of Chicago!
After a cozy two-night stay with my family, I can't recommend this hotel enough! The memorable hospitality from the attentive staff made us feel truly special. Enjoyed a fantastic meal at the lounge—be sure to try their signature cocktails! Perfectly located for exploring downtown.

Man, the location is prime—just a block from Michigan Ave, and the extra touches in the room, like Q-tips and water, made it feel like home. Plus, the staff was super friendly! Checking out the local bites was a treat—hit up Rudy's for classic grub and Vapiano for a fresh pasta fix. You won't regret it!
But the dark room vibes were a bit off, and with no clock, it felt like a trip to the twilight zone. It didn't ruin the stay, though, just a little quirky touch—a reminder to go with the flow!
